Eyden walked briskly along until he stood in front of Hades. "You know the cost of a life," Hades said calmly. "I do," Eyden said with a nod. "May I have permission to bring her to the gates?" Hades paused and then nodded. "But after that you may never leave Death again." his voice rang with finality.
Gwen's spirit, her real one, drifted in to the room. "You don't have to do this." She said sadly as they walked towards the portal. "You don't even know me." Eyden shook his head. "No, I'm doing what is best for me. I've always wanted to help my sister. And I know that they need you back there." His eyes were sad. "I just wish I could tell Peri good-bye." Gwen stared at him for a moment and then nodded. "I'll let her know."
"I think I'll finally tell her myself." he said with a small smile. They had reached the portal. Gwen, overcome with sudden emotion threw her arms around Eyden, "Thank you for giving me back my life." Then she stepped through the portal. Eyden stood there for a moment and then entered himself.

Peri stared for a moment. Inside her head she could hear herself thinking, Oh my. It rose in volume. Don't you dare Eydan! Her mixed up mind remembered he couldn't hear her. She used a flash of power to say to him, almost yelling, [glow=blue,2,300]Don't you dare Eydan Intromors! Do not die! Come on! Imagine what Aiden will think![/glow]

Suddenly Eyden felt a fierce tug that seemed to pull at his soul. It lasted only a fw seconds then it was over. Eyden sighed and gave himselfa once over. It didn't seem quite as crowded is this body now. He prayed that this meant his plan had worked.

Kira walked over to Eyden with a sad look on her face. "That was a brave thing you did back there. Not many people would do that" she said softly. Her expression was unreadable but the tension in the room rose. "I don't think we ever met though. The name is Kira. Daughter of Hades and sister of Uriel" she said with a small nod. She was terrible with introductions and even worse with goodbyes. This was both of them wrapped in one.

Eyden nodded solemly. "I know who you are." Eyden knew a lot. Even some things he shouldn't.

"I know who you are as wel..." she said plainly. "The one thing we have in common is that we both gave up our souls to save our friends" she said softly as she walked over to hades. The scraggly old man beamed at his daughter. "I have finally found you a husband" he said giving her a crooked smile. Kira gave a sad nod at this statement. Wish I could do something before I got married she thought as she remembered all of those old shows where there was a girls night out before the wedding.
