Mortal watched Amara run out and throw daggers, "spunky little kid, but I don't think little six year olds can handle throwing daggers and watch her victims die. She most definitly was not a normal little kid, maybe something made her smaller, or she ages and matures really slowly" He said, pondering about Amara. "I definitly didn't find what I was looking for, but at least I have a good fight" He thought to himself while punching the intruders.

Don looked over to Aiana. "I'll stay with you, just in case you need some help. After all, I'm only a vampire. What good could I do in a fight?" he responded. He smiled at Aiana, giving her a wink as well.

Nina and Tabitha acted like good little girls. That is until Aiana turned her back. Then they were gone within seconds. Something wasn't quite right about them. Which became very apparent when a man behind Rayne raised a gun to the back of her head. In a flash and elven dagger pierced through his hand. Everyone expected either Lariond or Aiana to retrieve it, but were shocked to see six-year old Tabitha tug it out with a smug look on her face.
During their moment of shck they were thrown even deeper into the depths of confusionwhen Nina tugged her blade from the writhing man before her. "Something is very strange with our daughters!" Laroind called out to Adder. She nodded as the battle raged on.
Soon none were left to battle, those who had not died had run swiftly through the portal from whence they came from. The palace had grown silent and the floors were red with blood. Still they were alert for any signs of attack. But it seemed to be over.
"I believe now would be a good time to catch up and swap stories." Elsina said as she wiped her blade on the shirt of one of their fallen foes. "I agree." Gwen replied, "but first...." Her leg slammed out and caught the new guy behind the knees. Soon he was on his back and her sharp heeled boot was on his chest. No mortal was a match for Gwen in combat. Even one so oviously trained as he.
"I don't trust you." she said to him, her gun aimed at his knee caps."You came barging in here with no name and a strange aura and expect us to automaticaly trust you?" she almost yelled at him. "I don't think so." her words came out a whisper as she put her finger to the trigger. "Tell me what your name and purpose is or I promise, you'll never walk again." she said icily.
"No Gwen." Elsina called out. "I'd prefer to learn who he is by kinder standards. Gwen was reluctant, but stepped away. She slipped her gun into it's holster and said sarcastically. "As you wish your Highness," before storming off to her quarters.
Elsina sighed and shook her head. There's going to be a need for some extensive explaining now. "Creed if you could let me use the Great Hal right now I'd be much obliged."
Upstairs stormed about, packing her things. Completely unaware of the danger lurking outside her window..........
((Hi guys! Bummer about me almost getting caught, but at least I can still post through Aiana, thankies Aiana! Anyways I plan on trying to go online whenever I'm at emma's too! Okies well bye!))

Amara wiped her daggers off and started up the long staircase. Her face had a few streaks of blood on them but other than that she was untouched. She looked over at the others. She watched as Gwen stormed out with Creed following her. "Maybe I should stay here." she mumbled walking lower towards the third floor. She curled up and leaned against the large collom. She didn't notice a large dark portal opening behind her.

Aiana raced out after the twins. She realized at once they could take care of themselves. *elsina's post* She went back inside the room. "Its over," she told Don. "Lets go outside. Catch up with everybody. I feel like I've been away for years! I haven't seen Lariond recently either." She hugged him then hurried outside.
Rayne took out a cloth and wiped the filth and blood off the dragon-child's face before Amara headed up the third floor. Her grey eyes followed Gwen stomp up the stairs. Irritates easy, I see. She stored the knowledge. She glanced over at the mention of "catching up". She'd love to hear the other's stories. More knowledge never ever hurt. She saw a strange sort of light coming from the stairwell (3rd floor-Amara) but ignored it. What could it be? Well, they were in a volcano after all.....

Mortal looked at Gwen stomping up, "I don't care if I'm mortals, I fought things like you, vampires, werewolves, dragons, elves, you name it, I fought it! I'm not saying that I can't beat you, but I'm also not saying you can beat me! I would've have struck you, but I did owe you some kind of an explanation! Also, I didn't want all you fools gettin mad at me!" He said very loudly, for his pride took over, since he is a person with... too much pride. He dusted his clothes off, "Well then, I just wanted to help you fools out, and I get yelled at, guess I'm not wanted. Oh well..." He said as he started to walk out. When he walked past Elsina he looked at her and gave her a thanks and looked back at the door he was walking to.

Amara ran up to mortal and grabbed his hand. "Don't leave" she whispered. We don't even know who you are. But one of our friends disappeared and we could use some help."

Mortal looked down at Amara, "I wish I could, but it doesn't seem that I'm wanted, I know I saved you, but I can't go against what grown-ups want because of what a kid wants me to do... sorry." He said as he patted her on the head, stood up, turned around and started to walk towards the door.

"Well I'm a grown up too and I say you can stay!" she said folding her arms across her chest. A stubborn frown was plastered on her face.

He turned around and smiled when he looked down at her, but remembered what he was thinking about although he kept his smile, "Maybe you are, but then the whole group minus one doesn't want me to stay, sorry girl, but I guess majority rules" He said and turned back around, walking to the door once again.

Don frowned. Why was everyone beginning to fall apart again? Usually, when a new person came into the group, they would be accepted almost immediately, as long as they were good. He did not want to be the odd man out, but he also did not like seeing a possible new friend leave.

"Hey, don't leave," Aiana said. "Just because Gwen's got a temper, it doesn't mean we're going to force answers out of you or anything. Elsina stopped her and told her off after all. The whole group minus one wants you to stay. I'm sure Gwen does, too. She just wanted to make sure you wouldn't be dangerous to any of us."
Rayne watched in silence. It wasn't her place to decide whether the mortal stayed or left. It was his choice. What could she say that could affect what he chose to do? Besides, she couldn't invite him into the group, not being in the group herself. She leaned back against a nearby wall and closed her eyes, exhausted. She was still curious, though, so she listened.

Mortal suddenly stopped, "Wait! Why am I walking out door! I can be such an idiot." He said to himself so he took of his two gloves and put it in his pockets and then mumbeled some words, stuck out his hand and opened it revealing a portal. Upon hearing Aiana's words he mumbeled words and the portal closed. "Well then, I guess I'll stay, for now." He said walking back toward the group, "At least I'll probably get better fights with these people" He whispered to himself. When he got to the group and said "Ok, hello, I guess... I can tell you my name. It's Al, anyways who are all of you guys?"
